How Ideas are Researched & Documented
A disciplined five-stage framework that transforms abstract mechanical hypotheses into transparent, traceable, and physically grounded engineering studies.
Identify a Problem
Every inquiry begins by isolating an authentic, unaddressed physical friction in daily life or industry. Rather than inventing novelty for its own sake, we interrogate human behavior, commuter compliance failures, and mechanical inefficiencies.
Explore Existing Solutions
Before drafting a single line of CAD, we conduct thorough searches across patent databases (WIPO, USPTO, EPO, Indian Patent Office) and commercial hardware catalogs to understand why previous attempts failed or stagnated.
Develop a Concept
Using 3D parametric modeling, we synthesize mechanical linkages, pneumatic matrices, and structural geometries. We explore articulated joints, folding ratios, and spatial ergonomics to solve the core trade-off.
Evaluate Technical Feasibility
We subject the concept to mathematical analysis: Newton's laws of motion, impulse-momentum equations, stress concentrations, and thermal expansion under the Ideal Gas Law. We identify candidate materials and document explicit failure modes.
Plan Prototyping and Testing
Concepts cannot protect human lives on paper. We map the exact empirical testing regimens—such as drop-tower accelerometer testing, penetration strikethroughs, and ECE 22.06 oblique rotational trials—needed before any claim of road safety can be made.
The Non-Validation Principle
At WesbondX, we explicitly reject claiming theoretical concepts are “certified products” before empirical drop tests have occurred. A concept remains classified as an Unvalidated Conceptual Study until certified by accredited statutory bodies (such as UNECE, NHTSA, or BIS).
